Erwin and Ann Walden, along with their two sons, opened Walden’s Kitchen Centre in 1990. Erwin, a German master cabinet maker moved to Canada in 1960, bringing extensive knowledge and the value of good workmanship. The business was passed to Ann and Erwin’s sons in 2005, keeping the family-run business a wholesome experience as Erwin and Ann moved into retirement. Now solely owned by Ken Walden, the younger of the two sons, Ken has been installing and working in the kitchen industry alongside his dad since he was five years old. In keeping with the family tradition Ken’s daughter Kacey is the third generation Walden to work in the store. Kacey has a passion for interior design and woodworking, and as Walden tradition goes has been working by her dad’s side since she was a kid.
Walden’s offers a 3D design centre and showroom featuring ‘Live Design’, an amazing experience during which you sit down with the Walden’s team and watch the design of your kitchen come together right in front of your eyes! 3D rendering presents you with a visual walk-through, allowing you to preview exactly what your space and layout will feel like..
