Chamber launches online Gift Card Program
The Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce has launched a Gift Card Program enabling local businesses to sell gift certificates online.
We have made this online gift card sales program available for free to any businesses in Peterborough & Peterborough County. There is no cost for businesses/organizations to register for the program and funds are paid directly to the local business within 14 days.
“This looks like a great thing for small businesses that don’t have their own online presence – and those who do of course.” Bill Kimball, Electric City Culture Council.
A one-stop-shop, individuals can buy gift cards from local businesses across the City and County for use once businesses move toward recovery. The gift card program, powered through FanSaves Helps, also enables individuals to purchase and donate gift certificates from local businesses to frontline hospital workers across the country.
Since launching on April 14, over 30 businesses and organizations have registered. According to Shannon Ferguson, FanSaves Co-Founder and CEO, “We had a flood of awesome new businesses sign up…. the biggest influx in a city by far!”
