Fall is the perfect time to rotate your wall décor! We often see art as more permanent, but rotating pieces can be a creative way to infuse your space with an entirely new focal point. The Kawarthas means we have access to an abundance of art talent across all mediums. At Colborne Street Gallery we are always featuring new exhibitions and art talks. These are great ways to discover artists and almost always, we have a line-up of smalls that make ideal gifts. Even leaning art against walls and overlapping pieces is a technique to lend that gallery touch to your own home. Consider leaning art on a counter top, or against a table, art does not need to be relegated to just wall space. Not ashamed to admit that we have two closets of art that we rotate! We enjoy fashion but we love interior design and we want to show you all the ways you can add texture, warmth and fall tones to your home this season. Similar to fashion, we want to be current. We want to layer on the new and again, similar to fashion, it’s sometimes simply about how you style something!
