The company was founded in 2013 by Tim Fosbery and Matthew Moore. Both have had extensive experience in building custom homes in their respected careers. Based in Lakefield, they are committed to building quality custom homes anywhere within the Kawartha Lakes area.

Their mission is to become their clients’ single source for all their building and renovation needs while maintaining their high level of integrity, craftsmanship, professionalism and innovation. In short, their clients’ satisfaction is their number one goal.

The Four Points Process

Introduction
It begins with the first meeting, when the client meets the team. They are presented with a portfolio of previous projects as well as a list of credible references. The Four Points team asks questions, takes notes and offers advice in order to put together a comprehensive plan. When they leave the meeting, they have all the information required to proceed with an accurate and fair estimate.

Estimates & Contracts
Following the initial meeting they will begin drawing up the estimate and contract immediately. Keeping in mind that every client is unique, the contract is structured to meet each individual’s needs. The estimates are structured so that the client can choose between Fixed Price format or Time and Material format. Each has their pros and cons, and all this is explained in detail. The client is provided with breakdowns of all points in the construction process; this ensures they are fully informed and confident in their contractor.

Building Process
As anyone who has gone through a new build or an extensive renovation can attest, the building process can be a complex process. From helping with design and building drawings to post-construction maintenance Four Points Construction is committed to ensuring the project runs efficiently and on budget. This is achieved by hiring professional, fully-insured and licensed sub-trades and providing complete breakdowns of invoices and time sheets. Leaving nothing to chance, they book sub-trades in advance and ensure materials are ordered so everything and everyone is onsite at the required time. The last job each day is to ensure the job site is left in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Four Points Construction take pride in their projects from the removal of the first bucket of earth to the day the keys are handed over to the client.

Post Construction Process
Customer satisfaction is Four Points Construction’s number one goal, and they base the success of each project on the client’s response when asked for a referral and recommendation. They also offer any after-sales maintenance that may be required by the client.
