Popsicle Stick Soldier

There are so many fun Christmas crafts floating around on the internet, we chose to do the popsicle stick soldiers. It was a fun afternoon craft.

What you need:

• Jumbo craft sticks

• Popsicle sticks

• Red, yellow, blue, and black acrylic paint

• Foam brushes with the sponge tip and

  plastic insert removed

• Mod Podge

• Hot glue

• Twine

• Paintbrushes

Directions:

First we put the sponge hat on so we could see where the face would go, you can glue it on, we didn’t feel the need for the jumbo craft stick fit perfect. We painted the popsicle sticks first and let them dry.

Next we Mod Podged all the pieces. After that was dry we used the Mod Podge to glue the arms on, you have to hold these till they stick. I also taped the back of the arm just for extra support.

After our soldier was all glued together, we added a drop of hot glue to the back of his hat and attached the twine.

Voilà – a perfect soldier.
